The author of this blog is a suicide loss survivor dedicated to turning pain into a purpose.
Suicide is not the only trauma I have survived. I have personal experience dealing with anxiety, depression, ptsd, grief, domestic abuse, and overcoming adversities. I have managed to raise emotionally intelligent children despite everything we endured.
I believe in the value of education and have 10+ years experience as an educator in the public school system. I am passionate about the mental health of children and advocating the importance of talk therapy and processing trauma in a healthy way.
You can expect posts about a variety of topics related to mental health, grief, suicide prevention, overcoming adversity, self-care, music and art, the power of prayer, and the healing process.
